Welcome to QuickRecap. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the QuickRecap application and related functionality. By downloading, accessing, or using QuickRecap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
QuickRecap helps you summarise and interact with podcasts and related audio/text content using AI-assisted tools. Availability of features depends on third-party content, APIs, OS permissions, and your device connectivity.
Summaries, transcripts displayed in the app, and other outputs may be produced using artificial intelligence models. Summaries and related text may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should not rely on them as sole sources for professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions. Verify important information against the original source material.
QuickRecap is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where warranties cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickRecap and its operators disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data arising from use of or inability to use the app. Our aggregate liability arising from these Terms generally shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid QuickRecap in the preceding twelve months for the service, or (b) zero if the app is offered free of charge to you, subject to mandatory laws that cannot limit liability.
The app may integrate or communicate with independent services operated by Spotify, Apple (including Siri and App Store), Groq, Taddy, Deepgram, Google AI (if configured), podcast directories, transcription providers, or others (“Third Parties”). Such services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their behaviour or outages. Your use of Spotify or other integrations is voluntary and remains subject to each provider's authorization.
These Terms are governed by laws that apply in TBD — insert your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, unless stricter protections apply where you reside. Courts in that jurisdiction (or your mandatory consumer venue where applicable) have exclusive competence subject to statutory rights you cannot waive.
We may modify these Terms. We will indicate the revised “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent allowed by law. Material changes should be reflected in-app or via store listing where practices require notification.
